You found Ryquir.Net a website brought to you by Tsunami's Plaything. Not a lot here right now but were working on that. If your wondering where our mascot comes from it is the character Ryquir (aka Ryuquir) from a two episode anime called Villgust. If you've never seen Villgust you've missed out on a rather funny romp which while understandably low on original plot has some great characters. You'll find a brief synopsis of Villgust below but this pretty much is the end of our site at the moment.
Villgust's premise is that only 8 hero's can save the world from an ancient evil. The problem is these hero's have been split into two groups of four people. The groups are making their way to go fight the evil on independantly of each other. In fact both groups have no clue the other exists. Each group is supported by the same Goddess character though and are on a holy mission. Group 1 which is introduced first consists of: A Warrior (male), a Enchanteress Warrior (female), a Ranger (female), and a Scout (Male). Group 2 consists of: A Thief (male), a Warrior (Barbarian wolf), a Priestess (female) and a Fighter (female).
Ryquir is part of the second group and could be considered a scout/fighter. She's catlike in appearence and definitely attitude, who comes across the first group while she is scouting. The young ranger eventually tracks Ryquir but she gets lost. It is then that Ryquir appears and comforts her. Once the ranger is feeling better Ryquir decides that she'll find her new friend's friends. (INSERT ROARING ENGINE NOISE) And off they go with the bedragled ranger literally flying behind a extermely hyper Ryquir.
Each group who are looking for their missing members eventually comes upon the other but in a predictable turn of events the bad guys convince the hero's to fight each other. It is their hope that the two sets of hero's will destroy each other eliminating their threat to the "evil plan". Just when you think they are going to die fighting each other Ryquir and the ranger show up and bust up the party. Thus the hero's are united now in goal and person and off they go to destroy the evil. Ryquir grabs the ranger girl, whose just now getting a breather after their previous jont, and takes of to go scouting. Well this turns into a deadly game of tag, deadly that is for the enemy as Ryquir literally tags the enemy to death. The groups finally meet up with the ancient evil and the final battle occurs.
